That makes Tesco Premium Lager more expensive per litre than the Hoff, which is £1.06 a litre at this price.

Yes, just making a point that tescos are always that price or even better if there is an offer....when the export one runs out.

Couldn't find any in my local, so settled on the slightly more expensive Tuborg (£9 for 20 bottles) and it is far, far superior IMHO.

Yes but you've paid £7 a box, (less the percentage of the extra £5 deducted from the £50 or more overall total - so 10% or less) and from what I saw today, NOT EVERY box (older/newer stock?) has the £1 voucher "Wembley" promotion on it - so no guarantee that these ones will definitely turn up.

I paid less than £5.40 a box for mine and all the ASDAs near me will not take a £1 or greater value money-off coupon UNLESS you buy the product. So unless I redeem them when buying the Carlsberg, I'd have to take them to Tesco to get my £1 back, and only achieve this buy spending more money.
And I don't need further MOCs, I have enough for all the ASDA & Tesco trips I make anyway.

I am a lady so for the extra bit of money if I don't get the £1 off vouchers, it's worth it for me not to have to lift 7 into a trolley with 2 young kids and then into the car and then out again at home! That's all.
Besides, I have bought Carlsberg before with these £1 off vouchers and used one at the till without buying the product so my Asda mustn't be too fussy.

Sorry but Spondon had sold out by the time I got there so I got CS to phone Sinfin to verify stock. They were down to last half dozen.
They put them to one side for me until I got there so I didn't have a wasted journey.

According to beer, wines & spirits man, it was a 1 off "clearance" of stock already held within the store. No more deliveries of it - so it's ALL GONE in Derby. Sorry !.

On a different note, did you go Tuesday night ? WOW !
Have you got your ticket for Wembley ?
Trying tomorrow for mine - over 5 hours from end of queue to getting served when I arrived.

No worries mate on th beer front mate. I decided to call in at B&Q to pick up a £10 Powerwasher on my way into work instead.
Yes I was there on tuesday, top top nite. My nerves were in tatters by the end but we did it ! I got my ticket yesterday, a mate of mine got to PP and joined the £48 line at 8:00am and finally got the tickets @ 11.00. Got to go any try and get tickets for the misses and kids on sunday, I expect the queues to be huge. I'm in 2 minds weather to try and do it online, but dont really want to pay the booking fees etc.

    UP THE RAMS !!!!!

Yes I didn't want to pay them either.
I got my ticket (£48) this afternoon - no queue at all really - only there 10 minutes, 9 of which was me trying to decide between about half a dozen areas to sit in and whether to pay £60 for a (very??) marginally better seat.

Re the beer (see my later post about it) - try Saturday morning - they had more again today (Friday) which was dwindling to nearly all gone by about 4pm.

I did rather well - cut out the £1 off coupon from each box (before going to the checkout) and handed them in at the till for each one, so only £6 a box, plus another fistful of coupons.
I'd picked a guy and I'd got a DCFC cap and jacket on, so talked footie etc.
He took more coupons than the usual 10%.
Ended up with 6 boxes for just £28

now that IS a BARGAIN ! HIC !

OK , you win quoia! Don't buy this on home delivery cos even though they had loads instore yesterday and I ordered a few days ago, they have just rang to say they have none in stock now. I said there was loads yesterday - did no-one think to put them away then and she said 'no, home shopping is all about availability on the day.' I had thought this may happen so bought 2 instore yesterday and will use the £1 off vouchers next time there are some in!

Sorry to hear that it never turned up. This price is "until midnight 20/5" so not too late to get some more if it's still in stock.

Sainsbury's are doing their multipack of Carlsberg Export at "HALF PRICE"

    £7.49 but that's only 20 X 275ML - so 49p more for 4 bottles less and NO £1 MOC on the pack
