£7.49 in Sainsburys if you can't get to an Asda. (I think they run out of Bud and are doing this as a substitute).

On the Sainsbury's website at least, it is £7.49 for 20 x 275ml bottles of Carlsberg Export, so you pay 49p more and get 4 less bottles compared to Asda. This means 37p a bottle, as opposed to 29p a bottle, so a pretty big difference.

I just saw a big pile of them at lunchtime and assumed they were the same size. Anyway more people tend to have a Sainsburys nearer to them, its still half price and a good deal. Especially if it saves a long trek to an Asda.

The 20 cans of regular Carlsberg (£9.99 in Asda, I think?) has a £1 off coupon in at the mo. This can also be used on the bottles.

Only good if you have already bought a box, I s'pose....
    Reassuringly expensive

Asda are terrible for doing this. Reducing the price, but also reducing the bottle/can size, or pack size. 330ml has gone down to 275ml. And a case of 24 cans mysteriously shrunk to 20 cans last summer.

    I agree

Why have supermarkets suddenly started selling 20 cans when they have always been 24

And why are they selling 250ml cans & bottles:confused:

  • Just checked my local asda online - definitely says £7 for 24x275ml Hoff! (Carlsberg Export to the uninitiated).

When comparing any of these deals you must go by the PRICE PER LITRE,not bottle size or bottle price or how many bottles, cans etc.
