                    I realized before that there is plenty of spat between idiots who vote labour and right minded people like me who will vote conservative.
No-one seems to mention the Lib dems though.... its almost as if they are extinct.
Are there are any posters on here who will admit to plan to vote for the (almost) Extinct party? If I get no responses, I am planning to contact the World Wildlife Fund to see if they want to put the UK Liberal Democrat Party on the endangered list.

            I sadly hold my hand up to having voted for them in the last general election. We all learn by our mistakes though and I'll never vote again for them in a GE.             I've voted LibDem in the past. Our Council was firmly LibDem till they corruptly used the money (unsure what for, just that when I arrived here, there was a huge debt), and people discuss them with disgust.
 Since then our Council has been Conservative with a flavour of UKIP. We have had Conservative MPs for years. I voted LibDem in all elections before last (had a gap of 28 years when I was out of the Country though).
 My belief is that the LibDems are split into two factions: the Tory Lites of places like Wells and my area, and the more left-wing ones. It will be interesting to see how this divides up at the next election.
 I agree that they appear to have had their day, and would imagine that in 2015 the lefty Liberals will vote Labour (they have the same interest in Europe); the right-wing ones will vote Conservative or UKIP.0

            I see the rise of UKIP impacting the lib dems more than the tories, although it will have an effect.
 It seems globally, politics is becoming far more polarised, partly due to idiots like me, but also events. Its never a good thing, but imho, the lib dems sold their party for power instead of sticking to their principles. Important message that to all parties. you can compromise, but only so far. Labour must have kicked themselves hard when the Lib dems went into coalition, I am fairly sure they wanted a pure Tory government to hammer in the 2015 election after savage cuts had been enacted.

            I'm intending to vote LibDem at the next elections.
 The local politics mean that it'll be a conservative win regardless and we actually have a good MP. I'm generally conservative leaning but find some of the more 'right-wing' supporters and the attempts to keep them happy very off-putting.
 I've never had an issue with Lib Dem politics. I think the increased tax free allowance is one of the most progressive policies in years, alternative vote is better than our current system (imo) and I think their manifesto pledge to get rid of tuition fees was a great idea; I actually respect them more for being willing to form a coalition which meant so much compromise in order to bring about a viable government.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature.  Look at the voting intention / opinion polls and then see if you still think that's true. In many ways UKIP & the Lib Dem supporters are probably the further apart in terms of political opinions of the 4 major parties.
 The only way the Lib Dems are likely to be hurt by UKIPs rise is if UKIP becomes the equivalent of a protest vote against the big two.  All the Lib Dem voters who are now disilusioned I can only assumed you wanted to always be a party of protest outside govt because as a junior coalition partner you were always goign to end up having to make major policy concessions whoever the coalition was with.
 So the choices are no direct influence on policy as an opposition party or a limited influence as part of a coalition. It seems strange that so many lib dem supporters seemd to be totally unaware of what coalition govt would mean in reality?I think....0
