Best bank account for 16yrold

Hi, my dd starts college in September, and is looking for a part time job, so I'm thinking its time to open her own bank account.
Where is best? And what do we need to do to open it?
Does she need to come with me, or can I do it on my own for her?
I'd like her to have a cash card/ debit card with it, if possible.
Thanks
:-)

My nearly 15 yr old son has a TSB youth current account, he has a cash/debit card with it too.
He's had his about 2 yrs now - no problems, so farDon't try to keep up with the Joneses - Drag them down to your level - it's cheaper .0
