Outlook issues

Options
Like many of you, I've been 'downgraded' to Outlook from Hotmail. I frequently get this message 'We can't connect to Outlook at the moment. Please try again later'. It's not my internet connection as I can use other pages. I try other browsers and get the same message too.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks.

I havn't got any information for you but I can say that I hate this new setup. My homepage won't open even though I have it selected in internet options and like you when I click on a blank tab (expecting my home pGe to open), I also get a message saying Outlook cannot open. I wonder if there is a way to restore it to how it used to be?

Hotmail is dead, gone, kaput. Outlook is the way forward for users of hotmail. Honestly, walk. If it's that bad, just walk away and use another provider. A lot of people don't like/want to use outlook over hotmail, and the only way to show that hate to microsoft on yet another pants decision is to walk away and go to someone else.

Whether you relearn the idiosyncrasies of outlook, or a new provider (one that is proven to actually work and load from scratch), you have to start again.

I'm another person absolutely detesting Outlook. Slow, clunky, unreliable, buggy piece of carp.

I really don't want to lose my hotmail email address, but I'm very tempted to set it up to forward all my mail to an address with another provider as the new 'service' is just dire.

The only reason I use hotmail/ outlook now on my PC is when I want to print something from an email. Otherwise, I use my Ipad. I think I'll just treat myself to an airprinter and then I wont need to use this useless programme again.

Incidently, can anyone help me with this issue? When I click on the IE logo either on my desktop or on the bottom bar, the Outlook mail page opens. I want my Yahoo homepage to open. I,ve got it set as my homepage in Internet options and it used to open when I clicked IE logo before this mess up, so how can I do it now?
