Having a Nightmare with a Finished Item on Ebay

I know that one of the more advanced members of Ebay may be able to help me with this question.

I sold an item on ebay and did not realise that the listing refers to an old email address for paypal which is now not in use. My paypal account has the new address attached to it and the listing has the old address, I also have a current listing with a bid on it again with the old address on it.

I cannot update the listings with the new address I cannot find where to do this.

I cannot send a request to for money via paypal to the sold listing as I need the buyers email address, ebay seems to block any communications that contain email addresses. Paypal require the email address to send the request.

My questions are how do I ask the buyer to send to a different paypal address and how can I update the current listing to reflect the changed address??

Your help would be much appreciated.

Do you have access to the old email account?

You can add that old address to your paypal and verify it, that should solve the problem.

You cannot change the email on the listing once it is live.

If the auction hasn't ended, it may be easiest to end and relist.

If it is ended, then you will have the buyers email in your order details, you can send them an email to explain and get them to send payment for goods stating the listing number.

How do I find the buyers email in the order details I can only see there ebay username?

I realise that I can send them a request for money via Paypal but I just cannot find the buyers email address.

In my 'awaiting payment' next to the user id I have their email address.

I also have a 'customise' option on the right of the page which has the ability display user id, user id and email, full name.

Select the second option.
