Hi there, looking for a good quality electric sewing machine for basic home alterations eg taking up hems on trousers, hemming curtains etc. looking to spend £90 max. Looking for recommendations. Got to be easy to use with a decent instruction book. New preferred.

No offence but sewing is pushing the realms of DIY! maybe you would get better help on a sewing forum.0

Hi, try sewing machines direct, I've just brought one from there, great customer service and good guarantees0

This board is for anything money saving related to the home, and NOT just for DIY, if you actually look at its title!
if you actually calm down, I wasn't being rude, just suggesting the OP might get better help from a sewing forum.
To be fair, the question wasn't about saving money or DIY, but recommending a sewing machine, so I stand by my post.0
