Short Term Car Insurance

My car insurance is due to expire on the 28th June, and because I am going to become a non-driver later this year as I am moving to London, I need insurance for approximately two months, until mid-end August.
I spoke to Tesco, my current provider, and I would have to pay the full amout up front and then get the refund when cancelling, but there would be a penalty charge of cancellation, which is one month. So I would be paying 3 months instead of 2.
Is there anyway I can get around this by switching to another supplier? Any help much appreicated.

Hi - try monthly pay as you go from
https://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk
or tempcover.com or dayinsure.com.These two may be 28 day maximum but should be able to cover for 2 months if you use both of them.
