Can I buy a virtual credit gift card with an Amazon gift card?

I was given an Amazon gift card, but I have nothing to buy on Amazon. I would like to redeem it somehow for a Visa or American Express gift card, preferably one that is virtual as opposed to getting it in the mail. Does anyone know a way I can do this, or a way I can transfer my Amazon credit to PayPal?

Only if Amazon, or someone on the Amazon marketplace, sells the visa or Amex gift card.

And the only way to transfer it to paypal would be to sell it on eBay and have the buyer pay you by paypal, but you won't get the full amount for it I doubt.

I don't think anyone on Amazon (let alone Amazon themselves) sell other gift cards. The nearest thing to cashing in an Amazon card can be to buy something like an Xbox Live subscription, and sell the code a few percent cheaper on Facebook or eBay.

You might. But probably from the proceeds of some scam which leads to the buyer having money in paypal he can't get out.

You can sell it easily, for between 80%-90% of its face value (as long as it is not one card for a huge amount) on another well known site...
