Hi.
Sadly I am having to close a small lifestyle business. We have no debts and no outstanding liabilities. Can someone advise on the easiest way to close please.
Thank you

Easiest, tell your accountant.
Assuming you dont have an accountant, do you operate as a sole trader or a Ltd?
If its a sole trader you just inform HMRC you have ceased trading and you'll do a final tax return for 2013/2014 tax year and you enter your ceasation date on that.
If you are a Ltd you also need to inform Companies House as per http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/infoAndGuide/windingUpCompany.shtml0 -
I'm going to guess: sole trader. As per above, choose your "end date", inform tax office (so you don't keep paying stamp, etc) and put it all in your next tax return.0
