i need advice on "charge back" please.

i have had an ongoing issue with sony & electronic arts for nearly 2 months, heres whats going on.
i purchased a game on the playstation store (crysis 3), it was basically a broken game the multiplayer was broken in the sense it would keep re setting my rank to level 1. i reported this to EA (the producer) and to sony as i bought the game digitally through their store. sony told me i would need a reference number from EA proving i had complained in order to process a refund, i gave them this 2 months ago and EA are refusing to get back in touch with sony to authorise the refund. its been nearly 2 months, so i contacted trading standards as this issue is very well known within the game community and cant be that hard to get evidance on. trading standards tell me that under the sale of goods act sony are obliged to refund me and if they fail to do so i can use the charge back system. i took this info & again spoke to sony who in turn tell me if i use charge back they will ban my ps3 from the network & brick my system so i cant use it. with all this in mind my question is this,

if i decide you use the charge back scheme to get my refund and sony ban my console am i able in turn to use charge back on every other purchase i made on the playstation store?

i ask because i have spent a hell of a lot of money on this service, well over £500 easily. all of my purchases have been through my debit card too.
thanks guys.

Yes you should be able to chargeback this troublesome transaction (provided you are within timescales).

If there is nothing wrong with previous games you stand no chance of getting refunds on those just because they lock your console.
