I am wanting to have a parcel sent from Essex to Nottingham which weighs 39kg. Would anyone be able to help me by recommending a courier & some idea of the cost. Thanks so much! :-)
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

That is more than most standard couriers, can the parcel be split? What are the dimensions and value. Is it a transaction via Paypal?0

Isn't the shop you are buying from able to arrange a courier? It will be easier for them as they will know the exact dimensions of the box.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Had a table delivered by APC the driver leaned it up against the wall and would not wait for it to be inspected. The wife said the driver was very rude and discourteous. Always a good starter for customer satisfaction.
Strangely, the side against the wall had a large hole in the packaging and the table had a matching hole in the middle of it.
The supplier admitted he was unhappy with APC and was in the middle of changing courier. A replacement table was dispatched.
The same driver delivered the (undamaged) replacement and refused to take the previously damaged table back. I insisted as he had delivered a visibly damaged package.
He reluctantly took it, denying any knowledge of the previous visible damage.
APC evidently spend a long time training their drivers in customer skills and handling delivery issues in a sensitive manner.
Nevertheless, I am afraid I cannot recommend them.
We have regular deliveries by Hermes and our delivery man is a gentleman - never had a problem with them.0 -
APC have always been excellent for me, but as always, depends on the company operating your local area. Every APC depot is operated by a different private company.brackenrigg wrote: »Had a table delivered by APC the driver leaned it up against the wall and would not wait for it to be inspected. APC however generally don't take parcels above 30 kg.
On parcelmonkey.co.uk you can have a night freight delivery for £46.99 + VAT0
