in Credit cards
Hi,
I am currently wishing to clear a balance of £2000.
This is not a credit card. I have always refused to get one and am currently paying hefty banking fees, roughly £20 to £40 a month.
I am wishing to possibly transfer a bank balance onto a 0% credit card for over a year period, 16 to 17 months would be ideal and pay the amount off. Would I need a balance tranfer credit card, I do not intend on making any purchases, this is to clear debt only. Am thinking a £100 to £150 a month is do-able to pay off. Is this the best way to clear this kind of debt? I can be quite good with my money and have only got into this mess through my partner being done by fraudist prior to us getting together and keeping companies at bay. No help has been given by the police or banks and the majority of this has been cleared and with her credit rating poor and being built back up it has effected my balance. I believe my credit rating to be good and do get constant offers, Just would like advice on what would be best for this circumstance. Thanks
