Hi all. I have a loan with Lloyds TSB which for one reason or another I have not paid my regular repayments for the last 2 months. I got a letter saying i needed to contact them, which i tried to do, only nobody ever answers the phone.

I then got a really threatening DEFAULT NOTICE letter, sayignt hat iif i didnt pay them a certain amount by 22nd April, they would cancel the loan agreement and demand the whole lot.

Again i tried to call the collections centre, have sat on hold for up to one hour, nobody ever answers!1!

I am worried they are going to default my loan and there is nothing i can do to stop it!! Does any one know of any other avenues of contact with these shysters? perhaps an email address?:(

They have branches all over the place, could you go in one?

I am strugglin for mobility at the moment, so this is difficult... i thought in the 21st century i'd be able to sort these issues from my own home... clearly not!!

the number on the letter "Collections centre" 08456006280

but after being on hold for an eternity I also tried one from "Saynoto0870" 01733347007.

It is the right number i think because it still has the woman saying "all our agents are busy blah blah blah"

    That sounds about right.
You could try writing to them saying that they do not answer the phone.

If you don't want the default, you'll have to wait until one of their agents is free to speak to you. Or use this, they'll probably put you through.

All sorted. Great minds think alike, meer!
I found the link you posted yesterday afternoon and issued a strongly worded complaint. Lo and behold, someone calls me this morning from the complaints centre and puts me straight through... also offered me compensation for wasted time and phone bills (quite rightly).

Having such inefficient call centres must cost Lloyds a fortune!!

Anyway, all sorted, they withdrew the default threat and set me on a repayment plan. So after much frustration  a happy ending :D

but as I say, it'd be much easier if they just answered their bloody phones... but as it turns out, its sorted, AND i am a few quid up as well!
