Pure bluster. It implies they are always dealing with legal matters, so you had better look out. When I hear someone use the phrase, I always assume they have some guy on speed dial for when they next get arrested.If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0

If you run your own business, you may well have a solicitor you regularly use and refer to as "yours".
Whether they are well versed in road traffic matters is another thing.0
