Combi Boiler Quotes

Hi All,
just been Quoted for a new boiler to replace my dated and super gas wasting water heater and back boiler just wondering if anyone has similar quotes or may know of cheaper companies in the west yorkshire area
1, Remove back boiler and water heater, replace with ideal logic plus 24. With flue and programable room stat. Where old water heater is now. Power flush heating system before installation of new boiler. Replace all but 1 radiator with thermostatic rad valves. Supply and fit 1 Magnaclean or similar to return pipe on boiler supply and fit all pipe work and wiring to controls.
Total cost labour and materials £2600.00
same as above from British Gas Was £4300+:rotfl:
ideally would want to spend around £1800 as i Also put the quote on MyHammer webiste and got five quote ranging from £1300 to £1800

Ideal are now much, much, much better than the old ones. The horror stories you read on line are all for the old style. The new ones are completely the opposite.0

How long is the warranty? Some boiler manufacturers offer 7 years (10 on the heat exchanger)?0 -
I wouldn't touch an Ideal either, or a 24kw combi.
You need a 28/30kw as a minimum as long as your cold mains flow is >12 litres/min0
