Rubber Neckers!!!!
Options
What is it with this country, My usual daily commute of 25mins up the M1 today was 70 mins, all due to a crash, Then we very slowly crawled past, making sure all rubber neckers could get a good look. Then on the southbound lane, they start slowing down to get a look, what are they hoping to see a coprse being cut out of a car?
If you want to see destruction and gore pitch up at your local A&E dept with a flask of coffee, Fri & Sat nights are usually good and sunday morning it will be full of footballers with assorted injuries.

Whilst agreeing with the OP to some extent, I do remember Terry Wogan making pointed comments about "rubber neckers" slowing down to look at an accident on the M4. Literally, two minutes later, I passed the site; the accident was relatively minor and was all off the carriageway - but there were no less than seven emergency vehicles in attendance. The flashing lights could have been seen from the moon !
I assume Mr Wogan wanted everyone to ignore any blue flashing lights and carry on at high speed.0 -
I don't see why they can't be fined for obstructing the carriageway or done for driving without due care and attention.
Oh no, hang on, they aren't speeding, therefore they must be driving safely.0 -
