I have contracted a single builder to manage all of this.

A "builder" as a project manager?

Or by builder do you mean a building company that have all the services in house.

    A building company.
Here they are if you're interested

I'm having a modified Ronaldsay built.

My modifications have increased the internal flooring space, improved the layout for my family all at £0 extra cost to carry out the internal modifications.

Incidently my plans have slightly altered to put in a bifold family room to garden door and instead of the dressing room, we are going to have 2 en-suites.

    Here's the plans

Here's some pictures of a similar property they have built.
I'm sure you'll see the quality they can provide.
You can buy as a kit or even better ask them to manage the complete build including getting the services connected.

As a homeowner, I love HPI. Renters should get a house while they can. No point crying into the milk bowl every morning. Build a nest egg and become a homeowner

Always wanted to build my own home (Kit). Looked at land some 20 plus years ago. A third of an acre plot was selling for around around £150,000 (Berkshire Downs). So never had the conviction to take the plunge.

    Yep,
This Kit at just under £60k can provide 256 square meters of internal space.

Land is the hardest part to obtain.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to get self build mortgages as well.

I was gutted in that I missed out on a plot that was advertised at £45k for an acre just outside Aberdeen. with views over the town and to the sea.

I always wanted to check what it went for

What's odd about the House Price Crash forum cheerleaders is that the 'real house prices' graph on the home page clearly suggests there's good reason to think we are in the beginnings of a property up cycle ...

    http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/index.php

This helps show the cycle better though ...

Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

We have a half acre paddock. If the planning changes come in, the first thing I will be doing is applying for outline pp on it for a single property. We could overdevelop but I firmly believe there arent enough family 3-4 bed homes with decent space for the rug rats to stretch their wings.

When house prices are rising, I'm sure these HPI nutters have a picture in their head of a bank clerk adding crisp notes into their special jar on the shelf.
So when they see a headline saying "house prices rise £100 a day", they see the cash getting put in the jar.

And when they want some "free money" they go along and they get given the money out of their jar.

THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS YOU MORONS.
