The warrant is for access to the meter, by refussing to discuss you dont do yourself any favours and would recommend a resoloution.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

You have to pay the bill then take out a small claims action against the tenant in the county court.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Wow, did I ever say I didn't understand that?
I was merely saying that it's the principle of her not paying when she has a responsibility to her share of the bill regardless of what BG says. I have just agreed with my other housemate to pay the £25. No I haven't checked it but I will do.
I'm going to stop posting in this thread now because all people seem to be doing is having a go at me about things I have already acknowledged in my original thread. I was just asking for help and for suggestions on how to protect my credit rating.
But you have been given plenty of help. Which is the advice to pay the debt and then seek to recover it from the 3rd party. That's the only way to present your credit record being trashed. Yes, your ex-housemate is liable, but so are you for the same debt. And it's you they're coming after. You may not like the principle, but that is nevertheless the legal reality.
Don't throw your toys out of the pram just because you didn't get the answer you'd hoped for (which is for us to tell you that you're only liable for a one-third share of the debt). No free lunch, and no free laptop0
