It IS really important to remember that we cannot reduce our debt every day.
But by keeping our spending habits under control, we are reducing the debt over time. Even on those days where the debt has to increase because of emergency etc, now that we are DFWers we really make sure that increasing the debt is the last resort, and not a decision we take lightly, whereas pre-LBM we would have paid for it on the plastic without giving it any thought.
So, anyway, rambling a bit, but good habits ARE being formed and we ARE making progress. Stick with it!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I tell you what else....it's true, we cannot reduce our debt every day and sometimes we do have to spend money, but since becoming a DFW I always have to ask myself whenever I am going to spend £££
"Well.....is there anything in it for me...?"
I know that sounds cynical but, in this day & age with cash back & rewards, then why not?Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
