That's a short trip. I'm free to accompany you. :) Do you have a ticket for a companion?

Apply for a Nationwide Flexaccount and take the associated Debit card with you. That's all you'll need.
Take a little cash in £s as back up.

If you've no time to or the inclination to apply for a Nationwide card....I never bother to change money beforehand. After all, it's the 21st Century, there are foreign exchange possibilities in-country.

Get the Nationwide card if you can. Saves a lot of hassle.
  • Lucky you!

If you're staying near Waikiki a good experience is snorkelling at Hanuama Bay. You can get there by bus and it's a great, safe spot for snorkelling (you can hire the equ't there), swimming and sunbathing.

    Have a great stay.

Grand Palace and Floating Market Bangkok
Bridge Walk and train to Blue Mountains Sydney, book walk before you go.
Pearl Harbour and Diamond Head Hawaii
Not really enough time but enjoy.

In Sydney I'd say a day at the beaches. There is a great walk from Bondi to Coogee (2 beaches) and a bus that goes to some of the others. A day either at the Blue Mountains or possibly the Hunter Valley if you're into your wine. then 2 days in the city. Possibly do the bridge climb but just generally exploring. It depends what you're in to, of course. If you are rich or a big fan of Japanese food or a foodie generally then I'd deffo say eat at Tetsuyas on Kent Street - one of the best restaraunts in the world. Mind you, I'm going back 7 years so it might have changed.
And if, you know, your history...

To be honest with such little time in each place i would suggest you just arrive there then go and wander, maybe plan to visit certain things such as golden gate bridge, sydney opera house etc but don't make a cast iron itinerary.

For Sydney I agree with the train to the Blue Mountains suggestion. I just got an early train on the day to Katoomba. Take your walking boots for this one though. The Scenic Railway and Skyway are great as long as you have a head for heights. More info here:

I'd also get yourself to the top of Sydney Tower to admire the views. The ferries from Darling Harbour can take you to the Zoo or the small beach resort of Manley but it's also gets you a boat trip around the bay.

You'll have just enough time to catch up on your sleep before you have to make it to airport for your next flight ;)

Out of interest - why such a short stay in each destination?
