I wouldn't worry too much about daily reads if it's an issue, but the more the better, and always check estimated reads on bills.

You used 11 units in 8 days. Those units could be hundreds of cubic feet (often a grey meter, 4 numbers in the read) or cubic meters (white meter, 5 numbers in the read).
If 00ft3 you roughly convert by multiplying by 31, if m3 by 11.

So either 341 kWh in 11 days (31 kWh/day) or 121 kWh (11 kWh/day)
Your most recent bill was 39 kWh/day.

If only for the 6 days occupied it becomes 57 kWh/day or 20 kWh/day.

Either could be possible with the weather we've been having.
If you can get another read sometime in the next week it'll hopefully match this (or be less, fingers crossed for summer).

Looks like you had very low bills before - next step would be trying to find out if anything has changed that is being missed.

If you are worried about the meter you could get it tested, but it would cost if faulty, and I can't imagine it being reading over by 50%.
