Over-bought mortgage assurance??

Options
Hi,
I'm not a great wiz with money and I was hoping someone could help. When taking out a mortgage I was sold certain policies with it...then further along the line, a remortgage added more policies! I'm now convinced I have too many policies but I'm terrified I might be under-covered if I cancel any. I'll list them below, if anyone has any sage-like suggestions I'd be eternally greatful (well, at least very thankful!):
Originally, got mortgage for £38 000
a) Mortgage and Business cover with Critical illness cover. (for £38000)
b) Level Term assurance with critical illness cover (for £20 000)
Over time, new mortgage for £114 000 (below policies added to original policies)
c) Decreasing term assurance with critical illness for myself and my wife jointly
over 23 years starting at £59 100
d) Decreasing term assurance with critical illness for my wife
over 25 years starting at £37 400
e) Level Term assurance with Critical illness cover for myself
over 25 years at £95 000

Now, to us this seems an awful lot of policies that all seem to do the same thing! Is there anyone that could offer some advice please?
I apologise for the length of this post.
Thank you in advance
Chris
