Asbestos Survey

I have been quoted £350 (excluding VAT) for an asbestos survey on a 3 bed property (SE London).
The company is on the UKAS website for asbestos surveying and the survey includes testing samples from the property.
Anyone had this done before and if so, does 350 ex VAT sound reasonable ?
Thanks

This seems to be the money spinner now, I know some tenants that had to have some work done in their bathroom, it was council accommodation, but before the council would let their contractors into do the work the tenants had to agree to let in their partners company to carry out a check to see if there was asbestos in their bathroom.
First two men called to the tenants home and they first took photos of their bathroom without first asking the tenants if it was OK to do so. They then proceeded to take off panels covering pipes and walls and away a bit of their floor tiles, which the tenants had put on the floor themselves a couple of years back to have it analysed.
The tenants did not hear any more back from the council's partners until the morning that the work was to begin in their bathroom. On that first morning a man turned up first and said that he was there to take off the flooring in the bathroom first before any work could begin. This man also took photos a and the told the tenants not to enter their bathroom and sealed up the door with tape after he had put sign on the bathroom door for no entry and he then took more photos of the no entry sign. The tenants told the man that there was no asbestos in their bathroom to which he said we got to 'assume' that there is asbestos in the room. What a waste of time and tax payers money!!!!0 -
are you suspecting there is asbestos there or just having it done?An opinion is just that..... An opinion0

its a 1950s build and the full survey indicated there might be asbestos under the stair area due to its property age.
Thing is, I wasn't so worried at first but vendor has had under stairs wired (possible disturbance of asbestos ?) and put a fridge in there. Not sure when this was done but the electrics wont have been done during original wiring. I will be taking fridge out but might eventually incorporate the space into kitchen when it is refitted.
