Cost to re-lay Indian Stone patio

Hi
We have an Indian Stone patio which needs to be relayed. I expect that the original house owner who had it done cut costs and the bed which the stone is set into is just sand etc. The jointing is all cracked and some of the stone wobbles slightly.
We have just had a quote of £2640 inc VAT to relay it from a local company with a very good reputation who offer a 5 year guarantee. As we already have the Indian stone, this quote is just for labour, digging out existing patio bed and redoing with full wet cement mortar bed and joints. The patio area covers roughly 25-30m square.
We will look to get another company to offer a quote, but we would be interested to know if you think this is reasonable?
Thanks in advance

Sounds like way too much to me. This is not a big job. The area is already more or less prepared so using the existing stone I would not expect to pay any more than about £1K."Some folks are wise and some are otherwise." - Tobias Smollett0

I agree, it does sound expensive. I will get some more quotes.
If anyone else has an opinion, please let me know0
