I'm surprised all the rusty KAs haven't bankrupted them, if they fix for free.Ford sometimes do honour the warrenty. It should be 12 years not 10 on a Focus. You will need to take it to a Ford approevd bodyshop, and you may find you need the service book paint check stamped every year for them to do it, but if you have this they have been known to honour the warrenty.
I've taken in my old Fiesta in the past and they did the work on that for free.0 -
Again, key phrase 'you may find you need the service book paint check stamped every year'.
Chances of this on a 9 year old Focus? None at all. OddballJamie is spot on. If it was that easy, there wouldn't be a rusty Ka in the land. At least it'll give the Ford dealers a laugh if you turn up with a banger Focus complaining of rust.0
