Praise for Sainsburys!!

My daughter was given a Kenwood mixer for her birthday in December by her aunt. She is a keen baker. This weekend it broke in that the one mixer would no longer turn. I asked my sister for the receipt so that I could return it but she no longer has it. I took the mixer back to Sainsburys anyway and they said they would accept a print out of my sister's bank account reflecting the debit. I managed to get this and again took the mixer back. It transpired that the price my sister paid was a special price of 24.99 and the same mixer was now 49.99. Sainsbury's not only accepted return of the mixer but let me have it at the original price, i.e. they did not ask for the extra 25.00 ..... how's that for good customer service!

That is good news, it makes a nice change to hear something good being said about a retailer.

Mind you, just wait, there will be along very soon some moaning, ' I know my rights' ' get everything you can, cos no one thinks about me' ' There is nothing wrong with robbing from a charity' etc T0sspot, who will say they should have done it anyway and you should sue them in small claims for a years supply of cake mix as compensation.

    Just wait you'll see !

Too right! That's what they should have done. IMO you should have held out for a year's supply of cake mix and cake decorating paraphernalia...

(Am I doing it right, rustyboy?)
