Claim Amount

Hiya,

I sent off my initial letter and scedule of charges a month or so ago, and received a standard "we're looking into this" reponse. So I now need to send my second letter which includes both the claim amount and the schedule of charges. However, since a month has passed since my initial letter, the amount of interest has increased and so my total is no longer the same as the amount in the initial letter. What do I do about this? Do I just send it with the latest total, or does it need to be the same as in the initial letter?

Thanks

Pete

Send the second letter with the new total.

Hi Pete, dont totally quote me on this but i believe if you just amend the new total to send the bank that should be find.

Can i ask why you waited a month and not 14days as stated in your 1st letter to send the 2nd letter off?

    Hope this helps
    Good luck
