Help, BT VOL011-?? order number

Hi all,

Has anyone had a nightmare in trying to get BT to recognise the own order number?

I ordered a new line on the 27th April and was given an order number VOL011-????? and told I would get an engineer the following Monday, great!!.

Took the Monday off waited in all day and no engineer, now the nightmare starts called BT over the last few days quoting my order number VOL011-??? and no-one can find it.

I’m really peeved  after spending hours on the phone to BT being passed around from department to department and wasting a days leave for no engineer to turn up and still have no phone. Has anyone else got the same treatment and if so how did you get it sorted.

Thanks
Insp C

Your order has been placed on the new WLR3 system. When you ring BT, you need to ask to speak to a WLR3 enquires advisor.

If they don't know what your on about, tell them to look at the briefings on OWL.

BT have introduced a new product and billing system (WLR3), only certain advisors are trained on it.

I'd ventuire to suggest that doing so would almost certainly result in ......... 'click' ........
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Nope, just a wait as you are transfered.

WLR is a hated phrase, but some advsiors are crap at figuring it out.
