David Wilson Experience

We have just pulled out of a deal on a DW apartment. We have been waiting 3 weeks to resolve an issue with a survey which under valued the apartment by £15000 from original price of £102,000

All I can say is the Customer Service from the so called sales team is nothing short of appalling and the so called "sales manager" has ignored 4 messages on her voicemail and has not even the decency to reply to email either.
I had to raise a complaint via the website to even get out holding deposit back as they clearly dont have time for people once they have paid the holding deposit. The whole attitude changed once we paid this as before, they could not try to help us.........all in all they have shot themselves in the foot as I work for a large company as a HR Manager who are currently looking at properties for staff moving from London.

DW will be bottom of our list I can assure them of that.

While I feel sorry you have had a bad experience, I can't imagine your bosses being too thrilled if you got your company to overpay for properties from other developers that would possibly be cheaper with DW, just because of a personal grudge.

why would an HR department get involved in the personal property buying choices of its employees?
  • Its not personal at all, we have had other staff that already live local and have had bad experiences with them "part ex" issues. Maybe I should of took notice of them but chose to look at the whole scenario at face value..........bad mistake.

With our company we help set up viewings and send out house info for management that are moving etc and show them the area. Maybe I work for a unique company that actually cares about the staff.
DW called today amazingly after I logged the complaint and said that our deposit will be refunded within 72 hours.

I don't think you work for a unique comapny at all

but I think you are overestimating, by a long way, the number of your relocating staff who will be chosing a new build over an established property
