Can anyone tell me if there is a Dongle that works with WIndows 98 - first edition and where I can get one. Also what is the proper name for a Dongle or is that it and also once I plug it into the USB how do I get my music onto it then onto my telephones MP3 player. Could a techno phobe master it?
thx

Most phones or MP3 players can plug directly into the USB socket on your computer so there's no need for bluetooth unless you want to communicate by wireless with your laptop.0

Thanks. Have plugged phone into USB and installed the driver cd that came with it. How do I get the music that is on my computer now onto my phone?0

If you look in "My Computer" the phone probably appears as an additional drive there, you can then drag your MP3 music files into it.
Alternatively, if you have any software that came with the phone which is installed on the PC there may be a way to make file transfers using that.0 -
Had a look on my computer and my phone is not showing as a removable device like my MP3 player would as I know how to drag and copy like you have said. I have rechecked my drivers and they've all been installed successfully. Do you know why my computer won't recognise the phone? thx0

hmm, not sure now....
Does the phone support Win 98?
Can you look in other places and in programs or search for the phone using Start - Search - (device name)0 -
Just had a looked at the instruction manual. Drivers and PC installation for use with Windows 2000 onwards so guess thats that option gone. thanks for your help anyway.0
