use up the last bit left in the tube?
I use these regularly and am very frustrated that I can't use it past the fill line. It's a bit like lipstick but you actually can't get the last bits out.
Has anyone scrapped out what's left and tried to melt it back into a used one? A bit like melting candles or warming soap. Just a thought..
Thanks

I use a cotton bud (with lipsticks as well). The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0

I've tried that but it's so dry, do you add a touch of water first?0

I've never got to the bottom of mine yet. Is it really worth the hassle? (not very MSE I know!). Is there that much left?0

TBH it doesn't look much but will add up to about 4 sticks worth every 6 months! It's not cheap at nearly a fiver a go. I don't understand why so much product can't be accessed, it's a rip off.0

if u mean the headache roll on stuff. u can get one in poundland now. u may use a bit more but at £1 it works out a lot cheaper even if use twice as muchWhen you know better you do better0

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Thanks, I've tried loads of different makes, some cheaper some more expensive, this is the only one that works for me.
I'm going to try a few things because there has got to be about 3/4 tubes worth of the stuff left behind in the others.0 -
I've also found the cheap ones aren't as good either, and would be really interested if you find an easy way of getting that last bit out. I usually just chuck my old ones in a drawer!0

Wow- they actually do run out then?
I have two, one I am pretty sure is at least five years old if not older. I've not yet gotten to the end of either, though I use them sparingly (two rolls across my head is a 4 hour application) and I store them in the fridge. I also ignore the use-by dates as I cannot see how they'd go bad and still work. Mine still work, one has the date of 2009 the other 2011.
I know it's not a money-saving plan, but I'd just repurchase. Unless your getting through these by the bucket-load (in which case I think you should see your GP about this) it's always going to be cheaper then paying for pills each time.0 -
Is 4head good? I have headaches most days but only take tablets if I absolutely have to leave the house or if its a crippling migraine because I heard that taking painkillers frequently can actually cause headaches! Apart from that I resort to cold face cloths and dark rooms so might give 4Head a go!GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125
