Title says it all, really.
Can anyone tell me of any brand that is decent/soft quality but also moneysaving approved?
What's on your bed? :-)

I find TX Maxx can be quite good for bedding, look out for the red or yellow stickers

I find that I always need to check labels for bedding because even the same brand can change between ranges and I avoid anything with polyester in it.0 -
I bought M and S fitted sheet - 70% cotton, and was very disapointed as the fabric was rough and had tiny blips in the weave.. be wary!
I have dorma sheets and duvet from dunelm, pure cotton and both are wonderful to sleep in.,, try to wait for discount days.
I also use old sheets from next, but newer ones from them were not so good- I took them back as they were rough.
Also have old ones from john lewis, 50/50 poly cotton, very good too.
So, cheap cotton products are made from, erm cheap cotton!0 -
You cannot go wrong with QVC Northern nights range of egytpian cotton bedding. Have had one set for 10 years now and is still perfect. Washes even at 90 deg and no issues.
Failing that M&S egyptian cotton range good too. Go for 300TC or more.0 -
The dorma stuff from Dunelm is really soft and I like dapw.co.uk too. 300 thread count plus! OT but predictive text almost made me post a rather disturbing sounding link instead of dapw...0
