Worth saving for two months?

Hi all, wondered if someone could advise me.
I have £4,000 in my (Nationwide) current account which will make up part of our house deposit, to be paid in about two months time. Is it worth opening a savings account for just two months or should I just leave it? I've already paid £3,000 into my ISA, so don't want to put any more in there as I will be withdrawing it again soon.
Would be very grateful for any advice!
Thanks,
Rachel

You'd get about £13 before tax. I probably would do it, it's a night in the pub!“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

If you do, make sure you pick a savings account that will allow you to do a faster payment out to your solicitor when you need to ... otherwise the hassle of transferring to your current account (by BACS in the worst case) and then on to solicitor will def outweigh the £13 ... don't think i'd bother but is is a night in the pub ...0

A night in the pub??? 2 pints in my preferred drinking establishment comes to just shy of £8, which is probably why I don't go in there very often.....
Back on topic, yes I would, I transfer funds to higher paying account even for a couple of days so definately would for a couple of months.0
