Fax Marketing Scam

The other day I received a Fax which states that it is from a promotional Fax Marketing company.
It uses a lot of ink to print and then goes on to state that you can prevent following Faxes by sending the completed form back on 0905 000 2662.
This is a premium rate number and will cost £1.50 a minute. There will also probably be a very slow connection making the call cost at least £3.00.
The same company has tried (unsuccessfully) to send another Fax on at least three more occassions. I am having to intercept them so that I don't run out of ink on my Fax machine. No joke at £42.00 per cartridge.
This is tantamount to blackmail (No pun intended). The company is registered in Australia.
Surely B.T should be preventing this sort of misuse of the premium Rate Numbers.
My telephone is already TPF registered.
If you do receive one of these then whatever else you do --- DON'T REPLY!!
Has anyone else received one of these?

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Register your number with the Fax Preference Service, it won't stop all of them, but you can report those that do send you unwanted faxes and they will be prosecuted.

We get this once a week at work. We use a computer fax modem so nothing gets printed until we have seen it on screen which is just as well as we receive a lot of junk faxes overnight.0
