Elec board complaint - offered goodwill compensation & no acceptance of liability
Options
I recently sent a letter of complaint to my electricity board (not supplier) and have received an apology for inconvenience and a small offer of compensation. The cheque is in the post. I want to reply as I am not happy with their written response and they deny any liability. If I receive their cheque is this acceptance of their first gesture? Can I say I accept the money without prejudice to further correspondence?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

you need to say what happenedDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I think the distributors are all members of the Energy Ombudsman:

Possibly they aren't liable, which is why only part of the story is useless. Of course if the OP doesn't accept that well ....0
