  • We have exactly the same problem. A few years ago the tree owners had their side cut back which caused it to 'tip' our way. If they had asked us we would have contributed to have more work done on it.

    We had to get planning permission and paid £500 to have work done on our side. We had hoped it might give up and die as there is a lot of rot on the top but it just keeps on growing.

    A bit further down some other people have let a new tree grow, urrrggggghhh, if that's how you spell frustration!!

    So commiserations, speak nicely to your neighbours & see if you can share the costs or at least get a quote for some work & go from there.
