camera movie probs

been useing my digitl camera video to do some filmin of kids football etc, but when trying to play via media player-windows get picture and no sound, and unable to use inwindows movie maker. plays on quicktime no problem, but no use for windows movie maker

any ideas

What is the make and model of your camera? What format is the video in?

Download and install this program to your computer; http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en

Once you've done that you will will be able to 'right click' on the media file to get the information that you need. In other words, the 'codecs' that you need to play the files in WMP.
