You have a bookkeeping problem
You use Sage
Now you have two problems!
OK, somewhat harsh and I am not trying to single out Sage here - what I mean is that bookkeeping software can add complications meaning you have to learn its ways to do anything. I gave up using accounting software for my small business and reverted to excel as at least I know it's up to me to get right, and spreadsheets are very open and you can follow the sums!0 -
Lol thanks Paddyrg, just what I thought stick with the established Excel spreadsheets I have set up! Far less hassle I feel

older machines can be fast enough, provided they have enough ram.

We used a webbssed accounts package. Clear books
Would also recommend a dell vostro laptop about 350 or so plus vat.
Would also agree you are better to ramp up your ram I have 8gb in mine and would also question the need for a high powered pc for your requirements. We run some 5 year old dells for similar requirements to you and all run fine.0 -
How would Microsoft know if you were using Office365 Home/student for business use?.
Give LibreOffice a go. It is free & above all, it is far, far more advanced than Openoffice.
For storage issues, you can use 'Dropbox'. This has the advantage that if your PC is stolen/fails, you can install Dropbox on another system then regain access to your files.Never Knowingly Understood.
