Garage flat roof leak on ridge/edge

Hi

I have a flat roof garage and the felt has cracked along an edge where it goes from horizontal to vertical. The gap is a few cm now and I was wondering if there was anything I could buy to fill the gap and stop the leak - like a tar or rubery compound?

Have looked online and found this stuff

But not sure its thick enough for what I need and want more of a black tar!

Any ideas what to use and where to get it?

Roofix from ideal world if you believe their hype.

Any paint on repair compound will act as a temporary repair until you fully replace, even the B&Q basic stuff works reasonably well. Just make sure you are trying to cover cracks and not holes!
