Why not look yourself? Acts are listed on legislation.gov.uk (although not always right-this-minute up-to-date).

Those sections do not exist as such, although there are similarly referenced sections. Google on Local Government Act 1974 and the first link is to the full text on http://www.legislation.gov.uk where you can check it out for yourself.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

As VallHaller says, they don't seem to exist. What exactly are you looking for? Do you have the right name of the act/right sections?

They don't exist in the current revised version now ruling:
    http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1974/7/contents

If you look in the original text..
    http://www.legiasltion.gov.uk/ukpga/1974/7/pdfs/ukpga_19740007_en.pdf
There does not seem to be a 26(B) or a 34(D) there either.

So the simple answer to your question is "nuffink"...

Where did you get the 26B & 34D from, pray?? I suspect you are interested in something else (eg 26(2)(b)... )

    Cheers!!

Thanks for reply and I am concern that they do not exist as they came from the local government ombudsman.

the links quoted are sections (26B and 34D) and (34(3))

I will have a look at the link you poster later on today

Easier to read the info from the LGO website.
Opinion, advice and information are different things. Don't be surprised if you receive all 3 in response. :D
