£5 Microchipping @ Pets at Home

If you become a VIP member at Pets at Home (its free) and pick up one of the My VIP magazine in store (again its free for VIP members) there is a voucher in the back of the magazine which entitles you to get your dog or cat microchipped for £5 at a Pets at Home store.

    I have joined and collected the magazine, but there's no-where local I can take my cats.
    Looks like I will have to pay full whack :(

    Don't they do it in the store where you collected the magazine from?

    Yes I wanted to do this but they only do it at specified times in my store which was not what I was told the week before when I enquired, and secondly they need 2 managers to be there and they take your dog or cat into a back room and do not let you be there.I wanted to take my Mum's cat but he won't let anyone else hold him and certainly can't see he'd be very happy being taken away by 2 strangers.They point blank refused to let me hold him or even be there so I walked out and will get him chipped elsewhere.
