Halixax letters to wring address

Halifax have repeatedly sent my details to the wrong addressfor 2 years. I have a joint account with my partner. 3 years ago we moved intogether and we both changed our details with Halifax. A year later a letterfrom them was sent to my partners previous address (I have never lived there orhad my details listed as living there). I rang Halifax to confirm my addressand they said it would not happen again. 6months later another letter was sentto my partners address. I rang Halifax again, they promised that it would neverhappen again, they compensated me £30 and the cost of the phone call. Another 6months later my current account debit card has been sent to my partner’sprevious address.
Can anyone advise me how to tackle this issue? I feel evenif I complain this will keep on happening which is a great concern.

Have your ever written to effect your change of address?0

The change of address was done online. I have never been at the address they send my mail to.0

You could try going into a branch (with plenty of ID, proof of address etc) and ask them to check what address is on the screen, and see if they can process the change of address on the spot.0

Could it be that your partner still has a forgotten joint account with his ex ?
I have an account for my daughter and they send letters addressed to me and my ex husband to both addresses and I have never lived at his address ... On the plus side it annoys the hell out of his new wifeThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

How do you know that your post is going to an address you don't have access to?
You can't change your address online with Halifax, you have to change it by post, phone or branch - I assume you did it by post then?
My Halifax address was automatically changed when I changed my address with Lloyds... fortunately this glitch actually saved me time so I didn't complain.
However the reason I had to change my address with Lloyds was that they decided to change my address after I applied for a credit card. I definitely put the correct details on the online form, but somehow they decided to remove my flat number after issuing the card.0
