Download Kindle games

My wife bought a Kindle Fire HD.

She wants me to download some free games but she won't give me the Kindle.

Can I download them via my computer?

The Kindle is linked to my Amazon account and my wireless router.

Still learning about the Kindle.
Getting forgetful, if you think I've asked this before I probably have. :rotfl:

Don't have 1 myself (have a book reading kindle), but a quick google gave me this page

    http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=n%3A2478844011%2Cp_n_feature_two_browse-bin%3A5386926011

Pick/buy the games, turn on wireless on the Kindle & it should D/L them for you.

That's Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. I don't think you can buy downloads from the States.

That is correct, Amazon will not let me download from the US site.

I thought someone might have found a work around.

I can't seem to find an app store for amazon on UK. You can browse on US site, but again you have the issue of not being allowed.

It seems like you need to access the games and such through the kindle app store app itself. I freely stand to be corrected if someone else can access the app store on web on a normal computer :D

If you have an android, or apple ios device, ipad, iphone, i touch, it does say you can download the app store for that device, BUT I don't know if you could buy stuff on your phone, and have her download it to the kindle. I'm wondering if it knows what the device is and downloads for the current device, ie android phone, or iphone.

I'm afraid she will need to hand over the kindle to you if she wants you to put games on. Is there a reason as to why she can't find them herself and add them?

With the books it's easier with the kindle reading app. I can buy online on my desktop and then they're sent to the kindle app for my ipad. BUT this works on the basis that I can access the books to buy on my desktop, which is where I fall over trying to find the app store online on my computer. I can find the US one, but not the UK one.

Pure laziness, she has me to do it for her.

Before I start all that, will I need a credit card number?
