Hi Roma. I understand what it is like for you but if you do not go to the appointment , then they will stop any money you get. Firstly phone them and ask them for another appointment because you need someone to help you attend and no one is available forthat appointment. At least this will give you extra time to get advice from CAB and similar organizations. Do you not have a support worker? It seems that you really need one but unfortunately with all the cut backs, there are not many left. There is really nothing you can buy over the counter that will help you to calm down. What meds are you on? Can your partner not take you to your appointment or your doctor? It is obvious that your anxiety is through the roof and you cannot think straight. You will definately need to talk to a professional you cant go on like this. I wish I could be of more help.0

Thank you, but I am not going and cannot!! Any idea what happens? My doctor cannot help because same problem, I cannot go there either!!
I am so afraid, know my money will stop but nobody can MAKE me go, can they??
Nobody can MAKE you go but you have 2 choices:
1 - go and there may be a chance your benefit carries on as it has.
2 - don't go and the money WILL stop.
Your choice. Pick the less painful option.
Yes of course you can request a home visit but there are no guarantees that your request will be accepted. And this also depends a lot on your GP backing you up here and given you haven't been to your GP for quite some time then this may be difficult.
Good luck.if i had known then what i know now0 -
Ouch!! I go away in motorhome as it is my 2nd home....never said anything about stepping out of it!! Thanks for that!! Yes, will probably have to sell motorhome and house also!!!!
Thank you everyone else for your replies, helped a lot
Hi presumably you saw doctors before? otherwise how would you have been awarded DLA? also how would you know your doctor is aware of your illnesses?
I think you will have to see your doctor for a letter explaining the reasons for a home visit, otherwise face the likely consequences0 -
