Like most email users I get obviously fraudulent emails asking me to confirm my bank details so that I can be sent a huge prize in a lottery which I never entered.
The addresses for reporting such scams are quoted as euroteam at the OFT or scams at the OFT so I try to report them. I carefully put the full header information on the scam email and try to forward it to the address requested.
Then in step a company called Symantec who are censoring mail and I get a message: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient ****.oft by ***.messagelabs.***.
This means that I cannot report scams to the official body because they are detected as scams!
I imagine the next thing will be an OFT report saying there has been a dramatic drop off in the number of such scams!!!

I just report them as phishing emails via Hotmail. Or ignore them.0

Maybe it's because it picked up on the header you copied. If it is a known scam email then Symantec and similar will filter out emails they believe to be the same.
Why not try re-sending the email but just describe the email you received? If OFT want more information from you about the scam email then I'm sure they will contact you.0 -
Do you have a PDF printer on your computer? (Sounds silly but mine actually had one factory installed).
If you do PDF print it and then send it as an attachment.0
