So I've set up a redirection from my old address to my new address, paid £30 for the privilege and what do royal mail do? Mess it up. Not deliver the service properly. some mail has been received at my new address however the rest is still being sent to the old address.
Waste of my hard earned money, as they have not provided the service,
Can I asked for a refund?

Why do you say again? From what I see you have never started a thread about Royal Mail before and then today you duplicate a thread.0

Contact the delivery office of your old address first of all. It could be that the round isn't being covered by a regular postie. But when I was there, if it was highlighted that it wasn't being done regularly, the management would check it daily. But I was in the rarity of a delivery office with a good manager

Had RM redirection 4 times. They screwed up 4 times.
You get offered a book of stamps if you complain once and a months' refund on the second screw up.

Awful service.
It is awful service. I'm just saying if your paying for a service you'd expect it to be done correctly, i.e. having ALL my mail redirected.

It requires a certain level of competence and if it isn't the regular postie (who might remember) a redirection was in place , you are pretty much at their mercy.
As for not getting what you paid for - actually, this is the smallest part of the supplied service. They also contact: TVLRO, DHSS, CRA's and others to update the information they hold on you - check their terms for the updated list. It is a paid for re-addressing service, of which, the redirection is the smallest part.
Is it worth the money? Absolutely not. I gave the new owner £20 and a sheet of labels.0 -

I did actually read that before I signed for it. But was not the reason I set it up. Pretty capable of phoning and informing companies of my new address. Alls I want is all my mail received. They messed up keep safe for me before as well. .Is it worth the money? Absolutely not. I gave the new owner £20 and a sheet of labels.
Well said.
I will still right a letter of my disappointment to RM. but doubt I'll get anything more than a couple of 60p stamps.Save in 2013: #166: 9,122.51/[STRIKE]5,000[/STRIKE] 10,000Interest earned in 2014: £257.61 20/04/140
