Confused about what rate I'm getting.

I have a nationwide online isa 6 and was about to put my allowance in for this year, but wanted to check it was still paying a decent rate. According to the website it pays 2.39% aer incl bonus and 2.65 gross per annum.

So I'm confused what rate I actually get, as 2.65% is ok, but I can better 2.39%.

Can anyone help?

The gross rate is 2.65% so relax.

The AER inc bonus is a bit lower (2.39%) since the bonus period ends in less than 1 year from now. You can ignore this if you just want the best rate until that date (when you should transfer out).

If you keep checking through the year, you should find the AER inc bonus decreases as the bonus end point approaches.

I am assuming you have more than £25000.

I do have more than 25k. Thanks for explaining why the two rates were different.
