Photoshop Elements reinstall but no disc

Good Morning,

I have Photoshop Elements on an old laptop, I also have it saved on an external hard drive (as part of a full back up) I need to transfer it to my new laptop, but cant find the setup file am I looking for the wrong thing?
Is there another way to do it?

I do have the disc but it's in storage so would make life a lot easier if I could just transfer it from one laptop to the other or install from the back up.

Any help would be muchly appreciated!

You can't transfer it. Get the disc or at least state the version.

Have you retrieved the product key?

It is Elements 6 and yes I have the product key, if its going to be really tricky I can use my old laptop for what I need and get the disc on Monday. I thought it would be a simple case of reinstall - but I guess that would be far to easy!!
