Reward current accounts

Hi All,

Are there any current accounts that still pay you money eg£10 a month if you pay in a minimum amount eg£1000? I think Halifax used to do one but they don't seem to be advertising it anymore.
Does anyone know of any banks still offering this type of account?

Thanks

  • Halifax one still available (only £5 though):

Be aware that requirements are changing from 1 May - only need to fund with £750 p/m, but need two different and active monthly direct debits and stay in credit. See the "important changes to our range ...." part on the linked page.

Lloyds Classic account with Vantage pays interest at 3% gross on balances between £3000 and £5000, providing you pay in £1000 per month and stay in credit. So if you're able to keep as close as possible to a £5000 balance all the time you're looking at around £10 per interest net per month providing you're a standard rate tax payer.
